About the Role

This position will provide an opportunity to work with integrated design teams on multi-family and mixed-use projects of various sizes and complexity. The individual selected must possess the ability to react positively to a variety of design priorities, styles and project delivery methods. Professional Knowledge & Responsibility

  • Collaboratively create and implement the interior design on multi-family and mixed-use project types while integrating ideas into space and experience
  • Ability to provide leadership and creative vision to create successful multi-family design work
  • Experience maintaining client relationships
  • Demonstrate experience in creating interior details, materials, color selections, furniture and furnishings selections, lighting design, space planning, and associated coordination
  • Take responsibility for assignments with specified objectives that require investigation of many varied solutions
  • Work with clients on projects of any size
  • Direct work efforts of others, develop detailed design concepts, produce contract documents, interpret ordinances and interpret client needs
  • Coordinate work and collaborate with other disciplines
  • Assist other Interior Designers or Architects, and work in all phases of the interior design process
  • Perform other duties as needed

What You Have (Requirements)

  • NCIDQ certification
  • 8-10 years of experience working in relevant design firm environment 
  • Experience working on multi-family and mixed-use projects
  • Knowledge of computer software, including Revit, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficient in SketchUp, Windows-based programs, Microsoft Office and Windows OS
  • Understands and can articulate how to solve unusual or complex issues
  • Ability to provide leadership and creative vision to create successful multi-family design work
  • Experience working on projects in our core market preferred
  • Experience with Deltek Vision preferred
