Houser Walker Architecture is an award winning, boutique architecture studio dedicated to creating meaningful civic places through a collaborative, ecologic and holistic approach.

We’re seeking to add an experienced design architect to our studio, someone who will work directly and collaboratively with the firm partners. 

For this position, we are ideally looking for the following experience:

A background working with forward thinking, institutional clients. 

Approximately 4-10 years of quality experiences working for architectural firms. 

A history of project leadership, including leading multidisciplinary consultant teams through complex, challenging, fast paced projects. Your experience should include the broad spectrum of project phases including programming through post-construction.

A strong design portfolio, including the ability to build upon and develop designs holistically. Conveying your process is especially important. 

An ability to clearly communicate design concepts, both to clients and internal teams. This includes graphics, written, and verbal communications. 

Licensure or Registration is not a requirement of the position.

We currently use Sketchup, Revit, SpecLink and Adobe packages as part of our set of production tools. If you have experience with these, please let us know. However, we’re more interested in what tools you use as part of your work.
