  • Substantial project management experience (coordinating client contact and the roles of consultants and contractors in guiding a project to completion) including exposure to construction administration of single-family residential and/or commercial work in field and office
  • Ability to carry out the assembly of design presentation drawings, and filing, pricing, and CD sets with guidance as to office standards for basic formatting and necessary contents. Applicants should have working familiarity with relevant local codes and permitting processes.
  • Excellent english written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational abilities
  • Facility with Adobe Suite, Sketchup, Rhino, and/or other Mac-platform rendering software
  • This position will feature drawing/drafting and collaboration with other project team members in creating drawing sets

Insight and experience with appropriate detailing (in modern and contextual modes) is desired in a successful applicant.

PDA endeavors to create a challenging and supportive work environment, where staff learn, grow and share their experience with others, while accepting responsibility commensurate with their ability to contribute. As a component of our working process, we cultivate a sustained dialog among ourselves and our project partners about the role of design and architecture in other cultural and political endeavors, both locally and beyond.
