Locus Design Collaborative is looking for candidates with eight or more years of experience to manage multiple small/medium Workplace and Commercial Interior projects, and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects. A professional degree in architecture from an accredited program, and licensure, are preferred but not required.  

The Project Manager has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects. Candidates will be responsible for: preparing strategic plans for project success; the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of projects; serving as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction; actively managing client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.

Qualified candidates should possess the following skills:

  1. Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  2. Effective personal time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  3. Strong collaborative and detail-oriented work ethic.
  4. Proficiency in CAD is preferred.
  5. Proficiency in Word and Excel is required, Powerpoint is beneficial.

Locus Design Collaborative is a growing, dynamic Architecture firm, focused on Commercial Interiors projects, primarily in Fairfield (CT) and Westchester (NY) counties. We offer exposure to an array of job types including workplace, building repositioning, retail, and restaurant design. Because we are a boutique firm, there is the opportunity to be hands-on in all aspects of a project, which includes meeting clients, designing projects, working on construction documents, and project management.
