You have:
- 5-plus years’ experience reviewing construction documents
- 5-plus years’ experience in construction estimating or building project budgets
- Sound construction technical knowledge
- Extensive experience with project management software
- Experience coordinating consultants
- Scheduling and organizational skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Specifically Excel and Word)
- Excellent verbal, written and facilitation skills; including the ability to influence, negotiate and explain complex processes to clients and staff
- Proficiency with online meeting software

THE JOB
- Working closely with our Director of Production
- Helping to deliver projects within budget and on schedule
- Interacting with multiple clients and vendors over a geographically dispersed area
- Assisting with vendor pricing and building project budgets
- Leading negotiations for value engineering changes
- Drafting vendor and client purchase orders
- Participating in Client/Design/Construction meetings from Design Phase to Project Completion with a focus on providing constructability, assembly and logistics insight
- Preparing regular project status reports
- Reviewing and monitoring design and construction phase documents for conformance with the budget, schedule and prime contract
- Ensuring all project estimates are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the project; familiarity with each estimate and specification to fully support its integrity
- Assisting with troubleshooting and exception management during budgeting and construction phases
- Keeping track of vendor bids
- Coordinate payment of vendor invoices with accounting department
- Attending weekly internal project update meetings
- Coordinate and maintain lasting relationships with clients, staff, consultants, builders, and local regulatory officials
