Our studio is an open, collaborative environment in which critique and discussion are encouraged as part of the pursuit of design excellence for our clients. We are currently seeking a creative and committed design-oriented Project Architect with a minimum of seven years’ experience for an immediate opening in our New Orleans-based studio.

Applicants will be involved in multiple projects from conception through construction. Candidate should be creative, organized, responsible, and detail oriented. Ability to work independently yet flexible to collaborate with the team. The individual considered for this position must be able to work proficiently and effectively within a wide range of duties from drafting through project management and can manage their time to maintain a variety of tasks within multiple project timelines simultaneously. Execution of work with precision and attention to detail is essential.


Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with management tasks such as resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, scope, production processes, permitting, and quality control.
  •  Assist in directing and managing the project team, savvy to produce construction documents and specifications accurately and independently.
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to represent the firm professionally and communicate with consultants, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Experience with writing specifications.
  • Strong design origination skills with ability to select material and finish options for presentation.
  • Construction Administration experience with ability to review contractor submittals, analyze applications for payment, and conduct field visits


  • Minimum of seven years architectural experience, with at least two years of recent Project Architect or Project Management experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college in Architecture.
  • Proficiency in autoCAD or VectorWorks, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is required. Revit experience preferred.
  • Professional registration preferred; NCARB certification required, and applicant should be on the path to licensure.
  • LEED AP preferred.
  • Presentation, communication, written, and graphic skills are essential.
