We are looking for skilled Senior Architectural Designers with 8-15 years of experience for our client who is a large national integrated design firm. Ideally you will have experience in either government, higher education, or science & technology projects. You should also have strong experience in conceptual and schematic design, developing the full-building (interior and exterior), be comfortable leading design teams, including consultants, and have an overall passion for design.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership role in creative process of project design
• Collaborate with project team to advance project design
•  Lead team to ensure design work is done on time
• Lead and facilitate the firm’s integrated design approach
• Stay on top on best practices for new technologies, changes in building codes, and various industry changes etc.
• Be able to work with professionals from different disciplines, both internally and externally
• Lead internal design reviews
• Lead preliminary design work for marketing purposes
• Be able to create and deliver compelling design presentations to potential clients

Experience & Education:

• Professional degree in Architecture required; preferably an M.Arch
• Ability to conceptualize, develop and implement design on a variety of projects
• 8-15 years of experience – must have experience in one of government, higher education, or science & technology projects
• Registered license in Architecture required
• LEED accreditation
