About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator interfaces with the architectural staff and firm principals to successfully implement Blitz’s strategic marketing, communications, and business development goals across all studios. The role is split 80/20 with a primary focus on marketing activities and secondary focus on administration activities. Primary responsibilities include proposal execution, awards submittals, website updates, project photography coordination, and pr/social media coordination. Secondary roles include media inquiry response, event planning support, and procedure documentation. This is a full-time position with benefits. Compensation is based on ability and experience.

Responsibilities Include 

  • Planning, writing, editing, and designing proposals ranging from single page letters to extensive RFP/RFQ responses
  • Crafting detailed and researched messaging for potential clients
  • Copywriting and editing for website, social media, and external marketing collateral
  • Managing project photography schedule
  • Organizing digital assets/photography
  • Developing project award submissions
  • Supporting public relation activities
  • Writing supporting marketing materials including resumes, project descriptions and firm profiles
  • Participating in market research, social media management, and blast development

  • 3-5 years marketing experience with professional services firms, architecture firms preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, business, or a related field of study.
  • General understanding of the proposal development process for private and public agencies.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a must; Wordpress or HTML a plus.
  • Strong grammar, spelling, composition and proofreading abilities; superb attention to detail and eye for graphic layout.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong, confident, and clear communicator.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of a deadline-driven environment.
  • Candidates must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
