JKA is a full-service, 14-person architecture and urban design firm working on multi-family, hospitality, commercial, residential, and urban design projects. JKA is seeking a full-time Project Manager with 7 to 10+ years experience implementing architectural projects. The applicant will have a first or second professional degree in architecture and a passion for design and detailing.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that projects are well planned, coordinated, and administered within agreed upon schedules and fees.
  • Working with clients to make sure they are well-served and communicated with during the entire design and project process.
  • Implementing financial tracking, reporting, invoicing, and quality control of projects.
  • Soliciting and coordinating vendors, consultants, and other project partners.
  • Developing, managing, and mentoring professional staff.

Requirements include:

  • Broad knowledge of building systems and codes in relationship to the architectural design, production, and approval process.
  • High proficiency in design and construction drawing, production, and detailing.
  • Knowledge of Revit or equal.
  • Experience with the Construction Phase of services.
  • Knowledge of, and ability to communicate best architectural practices.
  • A desire to work with teams and mentor intern architects and junior staff.
  • A passion for architecture that translates to performance at a high level with an eye for detail.
  • Availability to attend an in-office interview.
  • Long-term US work authorization a requirement.

Initial work tasks will include working with a team to implement the planning, design, production, and construction of multi-family residential projects. This position will report to the president of the firm.

Salary is negotiable and dependent upon experience and skillsets.
