Duties & Responsibilities

Team 

  • Become an integral component of a small growing team in the design & procurement department
  • Establish systems and operating efficiencies
  • Develop, manage, & maintain client relationships
  • Source vendors and cultivate existing vendor relationships
  • Manage and review client proposals
  • Develop technologies to increase efficiencies

 Procurement 

  • Create, monitor, and own project timelines
  • Review design and architectural plans and specifications for accuracy.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of purchase orders.

Qualifications 

Prerequisites

  • Degree in design or business w/ design or procurement focus
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality procurement
  • Minimum 2 years of experience w/ branded hotels – Marriott, Hilton, & IHG
  • Deep understanding and proficiency in Marriott, Hilton, & IHG brand standards and design schemes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Based Software
  • Ability to adapt quickly and multi-task efficiently
  • Attention to detail and organizational aptitude
  • Communication and interpersonal eloquence
  • Solutions based innovative problem solver

Preferences:

  • Design and construction focused
  • Existing hotel vendor relationships
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and PlanGrid
  • Basic Quickbooks or similar program for Purchase Order creation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years’ direct hotel project management/purchasing/design experience.
