Scott Henson Architect is seeking a Technical Draftsperson/Associate Project Manager who has an aptitude for problem solving in a dynamic, collaborative work environment. Interested applicants must be quick to learn and adapt to standard drawing methods, related zoning & code rules, DOB and related agency requirements, should be detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to take on challenges. Qualified candidates must have a background in architecture, be proficient in AutoCAD with an interest in expanding their technical knowledge.

To be considered, the preferred candidate should have experience with the following:

  • Production of working drawings and filing sets in AutoCAD in accordance with specifications and design
  • Production of full sets of construction documents for purposes of bidding and construction
  • Check and verification of design drawings to conform with specifications and design data
  • Efficient and accurate drafting with adherence to AutoCAD standards
  • Work efficiently on multiple projects, both independently and with team members.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with team members, consultants and clients.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and organization skills.


  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Adobe Suite programs
  • Knowledge of construction materials, details and methods
  • Experience in production of construction documents
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
