Legacy Architecture, Inc. is seeking a fulltime architectural staff member to join our team.  An ideal candidate has:

  • A degree in architectural technology, architectural studies, or architecture; a NAAB accredited degree or minor or certificate in historic preservation is preferred
  • Five (5) or more years of professional architectural experience; a NCARB Record of AXP experience is preferred
  • Experience with building codes and working with authorities having jurisdiction; 2015 IBC and IEBC, 2009 ICC A117.1, Wisconsin Commercial Building Code SPS 361-366, Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code SPS 320-325 is preferred
  • Experience in Group A, B, F, M, and R use and occupancy classifications
  • Experience in Type IIIB, VA, or VB types of construction
  • Experience in Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents phases; Procurement (bidding or negotiation) and Construction (construction contract administration) is preferred
  • Knowledge of Civil, Structural, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering systems
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office, COMcheck, and REScheck
  • Detail oriented, problem solving, organizational, time management, and graphic, written, and verbal communication skills, fluency in the English language is required
