Wiencek + Associates Architects + Planners is an award-winning architecture firm specializing in multifamily housing in the Mid-Atlantic Region.  We are seeking a highly talented, responsible and creative Project Manager to join our team and be responsible for the full cycle of a project from conception to construction completion.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a thorough knowledge of the practice of architecture, a deep understanding of wood-frame constructability, and proven track record of managing projects successfully.
  • Possess a high level of technical proficiency and ability to mentor team members.
  • Be able to clearly and effectively communicate with our clients, manage relationships and coordinate between all involved parties.
  • Be comfortable contributing and leading in a collaborative team atmosphere
  • Work effectively with Principals and Senior Staff to develop resourceful and innovative solutions
  • Possess strong problem solving capabilities.

Qualifications include:

  • Registered architect
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture required. Master’s Degree preferred
  • 10 years+ experience, preferably with Multifamily projects.
  • Experienced with building code analysis, the permitting process, and construction administration.
  • Revit proficiency strongly preferred.
  • LEED certification is desirable as well as demonstration of a strong understanding of sustainable design.
  • Ability to work independently and interdependently in a collaborative team environment.
