HNM is currently seeking to fill two job positions for Project Managers/Architects. We are looking for candidates that have experience in a wide range of project types; with an emphasis on Commercial, Industrial, Educational and Residential. Seeking Architects (license not required but preferred) with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the field. A Bachelor of Architecture is mandatory. The individual will be passionate about their trade. Strong abilities in innovative and effective design, construction documents preparation, project, and department management, and quality assurance will be needed to perform in this role. Advanced AutoCAD skills will be required.

Just as important; these candidates must have strong technical and design skills. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, design sensitive, and has excellent organization/communication skills. The candidate should possess the ability to ensure the translation of design intent into construction documentation. The person hired for this position will manage multiple projects during all phases of a project until completion and direct employees and consultants at all levels to ensure that proper steps and procedures are taken so that work is completed as planned, budgeted, scheduled and in conformance with the design intent. Ensure that the production of construction documents is in concert with the design of the project. Manage the work of other firm employees. Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at the project site. Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, sub-consultants and other disciplines to ensure project details are carried out properly, including technical issues and project information. Manage the project team, review documents for adherence to building, zoning and ADA codes. Exercise authority over day-to-day activity of assigned projects. Responsible for managing projects, work plans, consultants and schedule. Develop a detailed project schedule and communicate key deliverable dates to the project team. Conduct schematic, design development, contract document and administration for multiple projects. Plan, organize and manage the work of the project team. Provides technical advice and solve complex issues.
