We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join the BIG NYC Finance team. You will be part of the administration team in New York and will work closely with the Senior Accountant and Finance director as well as other members of our Finance team in Copenhagen. Because we are a small finance team in New York, you will be responsible for many tasks within the finance department and have the unique opportunity to learn through an immersive hands on experience.

  • Is structured and responsible
  • Has a Bachelor’s Degree and/or experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Has a minimum of 0-2 years of Finance, Accounting experience

You will be responsible for, though not limited to:

  • Bookkeeping in Navision; invoices, payments, travel expenses and other postings
  • Accounts payable
  • Account receivables
  • Inter company transactions and booking of these
  • Expense reports; make sure travel expenses are handed in to the finance department in time for the month close and that accurate information is given and is compliant with company policy.
  • Monthly reporting, assist with month end closing to make sure the reporting is on time to management.
  • Ad hoc task within finance; assisting Senior accountant and Finance director with various task etc.
