Roger Ferris + Partners is seeking an experienced, high-performing, self-motivated registered architect for a fulltime Senior Project Manager position within our Bridgehampton, NY office. This position holds the true potential for a candidate to continue the growth and expansion of Roger Ferris + Partners’ presence on the East End of Long Island.

Candidates must have an accredited degree in architecture and not less than ten (10) years of experience working on high-end residential projects with a deep understanding of the construction administration process. Candidates with experience in a small office environment or as a sole practitioner are preferred. The Bridgehampton office is part of a broader, collaborative and design-intensive studio environment shared with our main office in Westport, CT. As such, design and management scope for projects in the region is jointly managed by leadership in both offices. Candidates must possess thoughtful leadership skills and exhibit a detailed understanding of the design and management process through all phases of design and documentation. Specifically, candidates must demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the regulatory and entitlement process in Eastern Long Island; have experience in developing detailed construction documentation, including specifications, and on-site construction administration. Regarding the latter, candidates must have experience working hand-in-hand with builders and contractors on problem-solving and design execution. Candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Bridgehampton office, working alongside a small, targeted team. Development of internal schedules, task trackers, budgets and other related productivity and communication tools will be required to keep leadership informed. Candidates will be expected to operate autonomously at times and will travel to the Westport office on an every other week basis.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Legal status to work in the US, including a valid working permit and/or visa
  • Completion of an accredited program in architecture
  • Not less than ten (10) years of work experience as an architect and project manager in the field of high-end residential architecture
  • In-depth experience in the Construction Administration phase, including on-site problem-solving and design execution with builders and contractors
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously
  • Highly collaborative and able to manage and lead a small, targeted team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an innate desire to produce meaningful work
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • A flexible and open attitude towards different working methods'


  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or another related scheduling program
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and related programs
  • Advanced Knowledge of and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Sketch-Up
