The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking a professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on his/her expertise as an Architect. You can make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment. Responsibilities include serving as Senior/Lead Architect providing architectural and functional design support to the various programs in the Plant Structures Group of the Technical Service Center, providing architectural and functional designs relevant to construction activities and preparing/reviewing complete architectural designs including drawings, quantity estimates, and specifications paragraphs for general industrial and commercial facilities and buildings including but not limited to powerplants, pump stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, warehouses, and small service buildings (Structures may be constructed of reinforced concrete, precast concrete, structural steel, timber, and masonry).  Additional, duties will include preparing code and regulation analysis in conformance with the accessibility guidelines (Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards) and the National Fire Protection Association 101 (Life Safety Code).
