The Marketing Department plays a significant role in communicating our firm’s mission and values, and strategically aligning these with those of potential clients and projects. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate their ideas and approach in a clear and thoughtful manner, work well within a collaborative team atmosphere and should be passionate about exceptional design.

 

The Marketing Manager will support a wide breadth of department responsibilities, in a dynamic and high-energy environment. The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor’s or master’s degree at minimum and 5-10 years of experience in a marketing role for a professional services firm. A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Writing or a related discipline is preferred. Experience with project lifecycles, marketing campaigns, design, and/or the A/E/C industry is a plus. This position can be based in either our Philadelphia or Princeton office with the expectation to be present in both office locations as required. This position is a direct report and supporting role to the Executive Director of Marketing Strategy.

 

Marketing Manager and Responsibilities:

 

Team Management – Oversee and manage marketing department priorities and workload, employ methods to measure and analyze team performance. Serve as a resource for decisions and help problem solve day-to-day issues. Mentor team to improve their skills and effectiveness within the firm. Develop necessary processes, and improve existing ones, to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.

 

Project Pursuits - Managing preparation of qualifications, proposals and presentations (from start to finish) and provide research required for all project opportunities ensuring consistency with firm strategy and brand identity.

 

Content Organization – Develop framework and manage content organization strategy including file structure, written and visual content, and implementation of Open Asset. (2019 Initiative). Monitor continued adherence to the established structure over time.

 

Marketing Plan – Support the development of the marketing plan and help implement strategies using internal and external resources

 

Communications Strategy

    • Support development of annual strategy

    • Drive the strategy as it relates to pushing content using internal and external resources to implement.

    • Track performance analysis and report to leadership monthly

Social Media Strategy

  • Develop the annual strategy as it relates to the communications

  • Drive the strategy using internal resources to implement

  • Track performance analysis and report to leadership monthly

     

Marketing Initiatives

  • Support development of annual strategic marketing initiatives

  • Develop implementation plan, manage and track performance analysis for one to three strategic initiatives each year.

     

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Provide general marketing-related administrative duties such as oversight of budget tracking, speaking and awards tracking, proposal tracking, annual contract agreements with existing and potential clients

 

Required Skills:

 

5-1o years of experience in related industry with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Management of people and process

Ability to understand and drive strategy

Organizational skills to oversee data and content management

Experience with implementing communications plans – knowledge of social media platforms

Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills

Knowledge of programs being used in marketing department (better understanding of workload and work plans/deadlines) – Required - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Adobe Acrobat/Reader, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator; Preferred - Deltek, Open Asset and Tableau
