Daniel Joseph Chenin Ltd. is a boutique multidisciplinary design studio located within the Las Vegas valley area with a focus on custom residential architecture/interiors and hospitality/commercial interiors.

JOB DESCRIPTION - Intermediate Architect

Candidates should be interested in all aspects of running a practice and exposure to all phases in the development and construction of work. The ideal candidate will be responsible to self-produce plans and specifications using Autodesk software, preform construction management services, and coordinate with consultants and contractors. The selected candidate will work closely with the Principal. 

Candidates should be highly motivated individuals who can take direction from the principal to self-direct their own work and who prefer working within a small and growing firm environment. Every member of the team contributes to the business and projects in multiple ways and will follow a project through the entire process from beginning to end, there are no hand-offs of responsibly.


  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the USA working in an architecture office.
  • Proficient in development, documentation, and coordinating a set of construction documents and fulfill requirements and deliverables of each project phase (SD, DD, CD, and CA).
  • Possess knowledge of best practices for implementing professional quality drawings.
  • Responsible for technical design aspects of a project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendations of design and develop all construction details and systems.
  • Applies sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principals and practices.
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards, and building construction.
  • Perform construction observation/management services.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk software, with advanced knowledge in Autodesk Bim360, Revit and AutoCAD. Competency in advance commands of editing requirements, drawings set up, management and use of all files and resolution of any related issues.
  • Write meeting minutes, RFI responses, and professional correspondence.
  • May supervise a small staff of (1 to 2) architects and technicians, but will be primarily responsible to self-produce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exhibit sound and accurate judgment, support and explain reasoning for decisions, makes decisions in a timely manner.


  • Licensure preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelors/Masters Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Work efficiently on fewer projects, but with a higher level of attention to detail and quality, both independently and with team members.
  • Resourcefulness and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication, organization and leadership skills.
