Safco Capital Corp, an established West Los Angeles based Real Estate/ Development Company is seeking a qualified Architect to supervise and manage several development projects within the city of Los Angeles.

The Responsibilities are;

  • Act as primary liaison between Developer, Architects, Consultants, General and Sub-contractors, Building Department, and Governmental Departments.
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of development projects including the oversight of project contractors and consultants.
  • Manage project documents including discretionary and non-discretionary approvals, agency releases/declarations/determinations, construction documents, architectural plans and specifications, contracts, and change orders.
  • Plan and review the Construction Program with the Developer including quality control procedures, safety and security practices, field office location and layout, temporary utilities, staging areas, equipment, and manpower.
  • Ensure that all required permits and/or licenses have been obtained and that all required safety notices are posted.
  • Provide supervision to support ongoing sitework including writing regular field reports, conducting weekly progress meetings, and taking meeting minutes and tracking issues. 


  • 10 years of experience in Architectural Design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (licensed architect is not required).
  • Experience in large-scale multi-family residential and mixed-use projects.
  • Knowledge of real estate development and construction process including a focus on the planning, design, construction, and delivery of multi-family residential product.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong client communication, collaboration. and conflict resolution skills required.
  • Experience in Auto-Cadd and Microsoft Office. 
  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and be able to maintain positive relationships with the design team and Developer. 
  • Have excellent leadership skills coupled with the ability to work in a collaborative environment, producing exemplary work on a daily basis.
