We’re looking for an RPM - Assistant Project Manager to be part of our growing global team who is energetic, eager to grow, solution oriented and willing to take on challenges.

Position Summary:

As a RPM - Assistant Project Manager, you will be working in close partnership with Tenant Coordinators, interfacing with internal Leasing representatives, Operations, design and construction team members. You will be responsible for managing and producing retail lease plans & collateral, providing studies of various layouts, maintain accurate plan updates and inventory in alignment with internal business systems. Most importantly, this person must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work product. To ensure URW provides optimal experiences, this person will be skilled at understanding construction documentation, space layout, planning and design schematics, and leasing procedures to best meet the needs of URW’s business objectives.

Essential job responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal business partners to produce lease exhibits such as lease outline drawings.
  • Manage and maintain leasing and operation center retail plans.
  • Support project team and Tenant Coordinators for field dimension verifications, follow project specifications and plans, logging photographs, daily project reports and notes as required.
  • Prepare space layout studies and calculate proposed leasing scenarios to meet basic building codes, local, and URW standards.
  • Consult and advise on space requirement issues that affect tenant layouts.
  • Review and approval of Leasing deals as it pertains to unit data integrity.
  • Interface with Leasing and Accounting systems.
  • Coordinate work with multiple entities of the business including Leasing Managers, Developers, Project Architects, Mall Management, Design & Construction, etc.
  • Timely responses to queries from various project teams at all time.

The minimum requirements and skills include:

  • Bachelor degree in architecture or construction related field or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years or more experience in architecture/retail/construction.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD.  Autolisp coding and customization a plus.
  • Experiences with REVIT/ Building Information Modeling (BIM)/ Bluebeam.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of local & national building codes and experience with compiling construction documents.
  • Decision-making qualities including effectively balancing and integrating business intuition.
  • Strong verbal and written skills with ability to accurately communicate business objectives and strategies with team.
  • Strong relationship building and team skills.
