Larson Architecture Works PLLC is a small architecture firm in midtown Manhattan with a varied practice in high quality residential, commercial, boutique retail and civic projects. With degrees from University of Pennsylvania and University of Michigan, Principal Doug Larson has been in private practice in New York City and its environs for over 25 years. The firm has a strong foundation in contextual design and the work spans historicism to modernism.  Every project is different, but all seek to solve problems in creative and thoughtful ways on behalf of the client. Continuing to build a team of dedicated project architects, Larson Architecture Works PLLC is keen to see qualifications from architects and designers who work seamlessly with clients and fellow co-workers to realize projects of the highest standards and caliber.

Senior Architectural Production Manager:

There is an immediate need for a full-time Senior Architectural Production Manager to oversee teams of staff members working on varied residential and small scale institutional projects. Candidates should have 15 years experience as a project manager or production manager and be willing to take on multiple projects.  Strong construction detailing experience and ability to direct and edit content and organization of working drawings.  Ability to construct production schedules, and oversee several staff including project architects and junior drafts people.  Autocad skill desired but this is mainly a non-drafting managerial position.


  • Degree in Architecture (BArch, March, or Architectural Technology)
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to confidently work with team and contractors on multiple projects
  • Registration not essential but a plus
  • Permanent legal US work status
  • ACAD skills a plus for management rather than production purposes
