  • The Sr. Designer is responsible to manage jobs on his/her own on budget and on time with little to no supervision from Jamie after 1 year. Comprehensive knowledge of the commercial interior design industry.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  •  Expert interior architectural detailing skills and AutoCAD – Must be willing to learn Rev-it and be proficient in 2 year – (JAG will pay for class)
  • Intermediate MS Office application skills
  • Highly developed presentation and graphic communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate a design concept to designers, technical staff and clients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of working drawing techniques and procedures.
  •  Thorough knowledge of building systems, codes and ADA requirements.
  •  Extensive knowledge of contract administration.
  • Sound knowledge of design principles, practices and aesthetics including furnishings and equipment.
  • Expert knowledge of Power Point and or similar for Presentations
  • Intermediate in photoshop
  •  Develop (or oversee) a consistent marketing/brand identity for JAG Interiors through web-site and social media
  • Demonstrate ability to manage and lead staff through a combination of direct authority and subject-matter expertise.
  •  Working knowledge of budget preparation and proven ability to manage projects within budgetary constraints.
  • Lead the design direction for the project including generating “mood shots” and relevant imagery when necessary
  • Business development, marketing and prospecting of new and existing clients
  • Must possess the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Consistently deliver and or review other Designers projects to meet or exceed the Client’s expectations and are profitable financially
  • Lead presentations / team meetings with the Client at appropriate intervals
  • Participate in staffing and financial management of the projects  
  • Attend events as required or requested by Jamie
  • Proposal information, gathering information for new projects Selecting materials, furniture, and finishes, Researching, evaluating, and managing design resources for use by the design team
  • Review and manage Material / Finish Schedules and Room Finish Schedules Reviewing Furniture Plan layouts and preparing itemized FF&E budgets that correspond to the Furniture Plans
  •  Producing Purchase Orders and follow up with the Purchasing department to be sure of  tracking of FF&E items and deliveries of goods to storage facility
  • Coordinating and participating in on-site installation of the FF&E (if your job or you are asked)
  • Coordinate design elements with the outside Consultants, and Architects.
  • Arrange and prepare performance reviews for Designer review meetings with Jamie at appropriate intervals 90 days, and annually thereafter
  • Keep project files organized in Builder file on desk top and binders and material bins for easy access
