We are RE.A.D (RE : Architecture Design), a young architecture office located in Dumbo, Brooklyn working on projects at all scales. We are growing quickly and look forward to have other young architects/ interior designer to grow with us.

INTERMEDIATE INTERIOR DESIGNER: Within the next 6 months you will be exposed to all phases of a project, specifically you will be working on a range of hospitality projects located around the city with well-known brands that are starting right away. The right candidate should have 3-5 years of professional experience and a good understanding of AutoCad and on how to create a full design drawing sets, including the interior design part. We are doing all renderings, project development, and details in house. While you will learn with us, you should be able to demonstrate skills that are relevant to each phase of the project.

INTERN: You will work directly with the senior architects and the management on the projects listed above but also on an upcoming competition and on several installations. We look forward to individuals who have strong conceptual skills and know how to use rhino/vray proficiently. Grasshopper/ digital fabrications skills a plus . You will see your work getting built very quickly in this environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Contribute on solving architectural problems in all phases of design.

  • Coordinate with principal and other team members drawings, models and details.

  • Prepare construction document in CAD to submit to DOB.

  • 3D Modeling for design exploration and client presentations.

  • 3D rendering.

  • Prepare client presentations.

  • Attend client presentations and prepare meeting minutes.

  • Office administration / office improvement suggestions

  • Participate in creation of content for the office social media.

Required Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work on the US.

  • Professional degree in architecture and/or interior design

  • Ability to work on a fast-phase environment.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of AutoCad, Adobe suite, Rhino, Sketchup and V-ray rendering
