MERGE Architects works closely with our clients as well as teams of fabricators, artists, craftspeople and engineers to produce an architecture that embraces the art of making within a larger agenda: to redefine social boundaries within built environments.             

We are seeking a creative Designer / Architect, with 1 to 4 years’ experience, to be involved in all aspects of projects, from schematic design through construction administration.  Located in Boston’s growing Seaport, we seek team members with excellent design and production skills.

Our office provides a highly collaborative setting, with a shared commitment to design excellence, craft, buildability and client service.  Applicants will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively, be self-motivated, and be design-focused problem-solvers. You will work on multiple projects and all aspects of a small and growing architecture practice.

Position requirements and skills:

  • B.Arch or M.Arch;
  • Demonstrated design experience
  • Experience working on design and presentation
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to take direction and collaborate with others
  • Solid knowledge of AutoCAD skills are a must, Revit experience highly preferred
  • Proficiency with Rhino and Adobe Suite
