Position Summary 

The Marketing Bid Manager is responsible for oversight of the New York marketing staff, overseeing all efforts revolving around marketing support for the local office as outlined below and management of deadlines and resourcing within the Marketing group.  

Reporting Structure 

Position reports to the Marketing Director.  

Job Responsibilities 

  • Review of all recent RFPs/presentations from production level, work with coordinators to improve workflow, high level graphic standards and content creation 
  • Lead and coordinate RFP and presentations at a high level, produce exceptional and well thought out content with great attention to detail
  • Oversee and engage in layout and production of qualifications, proposals, brochures, headshots, award submittals and preparation of presentations.
  • Oversight and management of deadlines (proposals, qualifications, presentations) – includes both delegation and production as required
  • Oversee and manage awards for NY office in coordination with Marketing Director and PR team
  • Maintain GNG’s, open prospect numbers, update Vision opportunities- Coordinate with Marketing Director and BD team for consistencies   
  • Participate in Business Development meetings
  • Manage coordination of project close out process including marketing close out reports from staff and vision entry 
  • Maintain organization of marketing drive
  • Identify/Review/Implement Go/No-Go Information for all incoming prospects.
  • Coordinate with Business Development and Marketing staff and fostering a BD culture.
  • Ensure that Project Managers are providing updated project information to Marketing during the progress of, and at the completion of, all projects.
  • Assist with written content including but not limited to press releases and project descriptions.
  • Support firm wide efforts to reinforce the branding and identify of the company in global marketing collateral and external messaging including: client proposals, brochures, presentations, advertisements, posters, digital and printed mailers, newsletters, information graphics, award submissions and exhibitions.  

Role Qualifications 

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign 
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite. 
  • 8 or more years of professional experience marketing 
  • Ability to lead team in support of all disciplines on project. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership traits. 
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Exhibit high levels of responsibility and organizational skill. 
  • Excellent graphic, written and verbal communication skills.
