Junior Project Manager (High-end Retail & Hospitality)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in management of all aspects of Real Estate, Budget, Design, Architecture, Permitting, Bidding and Construction phases for corporate, hospitality and retail projects in the U.S.
  • Assist in management of clients, contractors, and consultants to adhere to overall budget and schedule.
  • Survey and Due diligence reporting
  • Manage construction document process and permitting
  • Maintain quality control through project status reviews with project team to ensure contract document conformance with client approved design intent.
  • Oversees all aspects of Vendor Contracts and Lease terms throughout the duration of the project.
  • Conceptual detailed budgeting and estimating.
  • Manages construction administration activities by working with client, consultants, and general contractor throughout the construction phase.
  • Provide financial and comprehensive close out packages of projects.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 7 years of professional experience as owners rep/ project manager, construction project manager or Architectural Project Manager with a Minimum of 2 years in the national hospitality or retail design field
  • College degree in related field
  • In depth knowledge of architectural and construction processes and associated  phases.
  • Excellent software knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to read architectural and MEP and structural plans, maintain, and update budgets
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Ability to travel a must 
  • Must be incredibly organized and possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively manage and motivate team members and coordinate all consultant activities.
  • A refined expertise in both written and verbal communication
  • Ability to conceptualize design intent and present solutions to conflicts
  • Strong leadership, management and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasking, ability to handle a lot of projects at once
