Our Seattle office is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who is passionate about mentoring and is dedicated to creating environments that promote health, healing and wellbeing.

As a Healthcare Senior Project Manager on the Ankrom Moisan team, your role will require:

  • Creative design and problem-solving skills
  • Contribution to team and firm efforts by working successfully both independently and in a highly collaborative team
  • Management of projects from feasibility through Construction Administration
  • Managing project teams of 2-5 people
  • Ability to smoothly transition between tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Running in-house, project team, and client meetings
  • Building and maintaining day-to-day working relationships with clients, consultants, and the Ankrom Moisan team 
  • Assist Healthcare market leaders in the participation of Marketing efforts to pursue projects including business development, RFQ/RFP responses, and project interviews
  • Providing mentorship: share expertise, ask great questions, and lead by example
  • Generating, negotiating and managing project fees, and assuming fiscal responsibility for your projects and their performance
  • Drafting and coordinating project proposals and contracts
  • Development and execution of clearly communicated work plans for all project phases  
  • Reviewing project documentation for overall accuracy, design intent, and adherence to all applicable building and accessibility codes
  • Competency in Revit modeling and documentation
  • Ability to assist in production of complete documentation sets (SD, DD, CD, Permit, Bid), including bidding documents, general conditions, and supplemental conditions that are part of the contract documents

What we are looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in Architecture
  • 5+ years of direct project management
  • Bachelor of Architecture degree required; Master of Architecture preferred
  • Washington State Architectural licensure preferred, but not required
  • Strong desire to work in healthcare. Healthcare experience preferred, but not required
  • A natural leader and mentor that inspires trust
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively and successfully manage multiple projects and team members
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of the team and client and act proactively
  • An active listener with an open mind who enjoys working collaboratively
  • Strong understanding of design and construction process for both tenant improvements and ground-up construction
  • Success working within project budgets and schedules
  • Experience managing and communicating staffing needs and project schedules using software. Smartsheet and Deltek are currently used at Ankrom Moisan
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Studio and MS Office (Word and Excel)   
  • Working knowledge of Revit and CAD
  • Basic knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of relevant codes including FGI, SBC, IBC, and accessibility requirements  
  • Proactive approach to timely problem solving
  • Experience in drafting proposals and fees
  • Positive attitude, desire and ability to learn and grow, self-motivation, and ability to contribute in a group environment
