We have current openings for: Architectural Designer (2-3 years) and Job Captain (2-5 years)

Architectural Designer responsibilities:

  • Produce architectural drawings and documentation using Revit
  • Participate in all phases of architectural practice
  • Assist with design conception, development and construction documents including other duties as assigned
  • Commitment to completing tasks and able to communicate to team out loud to resolve dilemmas

Architectural Designer qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s in Architecture from four-year college/university
  • 2+ years of current Construction Document experience in corporate office interiors and commercial projects
  • Computer skills should include Revit (required), Lumion, AutoCad, Photoshop, MS Office
  • Some knowledge of basic California Building Codes; Architectural and Interior Design Standards

Job Captain responsibilities:

  • Production and accuracy of Construction Documents and Details using Revit including compliant with building codes, project requirements, and permits
  • Responsible to fully research and coordinate, document and submit all plan check corrections with applicable city agencies and engineers
  • Assist with construction administration, including answering RFIs, reviewing submittals, and solving construction-related issues in the office and in the field and provide appropriate direction to GC/Subs
  • Participate in all phases of architectural practice
  • Assist with design conception, development, production of drawings, documentation and other deliverables
  • Can communicate effectively with clients
  • Support in-house team

Job Captain qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s in Architecture from four-year college/university
  • 2-5 years of current Construction Document experience as a Job Captain in corporate office interiors and commercial projects
  • Computer skills should include Revit (required), Lumion, AutoCad, Photoshop, MS Office
  • Must know exiting and ADA codes, California Building Codes, Title 24 requirements and implications
  • Proficient in Architectural and Interior Design Standards
  • Construction Administration experience

ALL candidates should have:

  • Ability to read plans, elevations and sections and draft from hand sketches and/or redlines
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Currently residing and able to legally work in the U.S.
  • Must have reliable car and current valid California driver’s license to drive to project sites
  • This is an Exempt Full-Time position
