We are a small, fast paced, dynamic landscape and Architecture firm located in Los Angeles, CA. We take a creative and innovative approach to all projects which vary from luxury homes, apartment buildings, landscape and water features to large urban projects that engage community members and stakeholders. Our work is a design of architecture, landscape and water features. 

The Architect or Designer will work in a team environment to support the project production in completing all phases of the project including conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction document drawing packages. This position requires the ability to multitask between a variety of projects in the Los Angeles area.

In addition to being a creative thinker, applicants must have strong technical skills, including experience with AutoCAD, 3D Programs, detail design development and strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent hand graphics and experience with Photoshop preferred.

The ideal candidate has completed or is working towards education in landscape design or Architecture, and may be a recent graduate with a Landscape Architecture or Architecture degree or have comparable work experience in a landscape architecture firm in the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Development of project design, site plans, specifications and assisting in solving design complexities.
  • Preparation of verbal, visual and oral presentations for clients, municipal stall and boards, community members, etc.
  • Preparation of municipal permit applications
  • Irrigation design and WUCOLS calculations
  • Design planting layouts using knowledge of Southern California plant palate

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.A or Masters in Landscape Architecture or Architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability in Site Planning and Design, Design Detail, Irrigation design.
  • Strong design and writing skills, clear communication, organization and presentation skills, effective time management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and team player attitude.
