Muse and Company designs and fabricates high-end experiential installations and architectural elements for Fortune 100 technology clients with an eight year track record in the industry. We are looking for a Project Manager to supervise multiple large projects with demanding clients as we grow the team over the coming years.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and schedule project deliverables while keeping materials and personnel on track to meet deadlines
  • Manage design and fabrication schedules and report progress to Senior Creative Director/ Owner
  • Break down estimate budgets into working budgets 
  • Track labor hours in conjunction with accounting 
  • Lead weekly production meeting and distribute notes in a timely manner
  • Lead client and participate in OAC calls
  • Distribute call notes to design and fabrication team 
  • Manage sub-contracted designers and and fabricators 
  • Manage vendor relations
  • Lead the R&D charge for new projects
  • Co-present designs with Lead Designer or Senior Creative Director

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above (Construction Management, Architecture Management, Art Management, Museum Curation, Art or Similar Degree preferred but not required) 
  • 2-4 years experience in project management experience 
  • Experienced with program management software including the Microsoft suite, Google Drive, and Monday/Asana or similar tools
  • Experience with design programs preferred, including working knowledge of CAD, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, Indesign, and Illustrator
  • Ability to do basic hand sketch for blue sky meetings preferred 
  • Team Players with the ability to pick up new responsibilities as the need arises

  • Work hours are 8:30am-5:00pm in the design office and the fabrication shop hours are 7am-3:30pm. While OT is rare, it does happen as job site requirements occur and is compensated.
