(fer) studio, an award winning architect and design studio located in Inglewood, California, seeks for immediate hire, well qualified project associate candidates with two (2) to five (5) years of experience working within an architect environment.  Primary responsibilities of the Project Associate will be aiding in drawing and consultant coordination for project specific drawing and permit sets; in-house Project Team coordination as well as various ad hoc assignments.  This is an opportunity to present your architect and coordination skills within an entrepreneurial minded small business work environment.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Architecture or higher (Masters preferred) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum Two (2) to Five (5) years of practical experience
  • Practical knowledge essential in the use of AutoCAD; Adobe CS6; Rhino; Revit; and  working knowledge in the use of Sketchup; 3D Max
  • Knowledgeable and practical experience with architecture sets from schematic phase through construction documents/drawings - including redlining
  • Ability to independently coordinate
  • Rendering
  • Proficient with MS Office 2010 Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
