(fer) studio, an award winning architect and design studio located in Inglewood, California, seeks for immediate hire, well qualified project associate candidates with one (1) to three (3) years of experience working within an architect environment. Primary responsibilities of the Project Assistant will be aiding in drawing (ACAD) coordination for project specific drawing and permit sets; modeling (physical & 3D); rendering as well as various ad hoc assignments. This is an opportunity to present your software skills while enhancing your architectural knowledge within an entrepreneurial minded small business work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Architecture or higher from an accredited institution
Minimum One (1) to Five (5) years of experience
Practical knowledge a MUST in the use of AutoCAD; Adobe CS6; Rhino; Revit; and working knowledge in the use of Sketchup; 3D Max
Should be knowledgeable and have experience with architecture sets from schematic phase through construction documents/drawings
Ability to independently coordinate
Rendering
Proficient with MS Office 2010 Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong verbal & written communication skills
