Description:

The Project Architect will be responsible for project implementation from conceptual design through construction administration, including coordination with clients. Strong construction administration experience in K-12 education and multi-family/mixed use buildings.

Job Responsibilities:                  

  • Develops, checks and coordinates technical aspects of the design of a project.
  • Leads in organizing the drawing, BIM modeling efforts.
  • Assists in the production effort, preparing the project code review.
  • Follows established standards for project production and review.
  • Coordinates the work of Consultants.
  • Supervises assigned staff.
  • Mentors junior staff.
  • Keeps Project Manager and Principal in Charge informed of progress or need for assistance

Qualifications:

  • Accredited Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture is required.
  • Minimum of 4 to 7 years’ experience with K-12, Multi-family.
  • Strong organization, communication, technical and graphic skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in and readiness to lead the technical details of projects.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Proficient with computer-assisted design software such as Revit AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design; 3D software such as Sketchup.
  • Proficient with other data management software such as Word and Excel.
  • License required.
  • LEED Accreditation preferred.
