Garrison Hullinger Interior Design, Inc. is seeking a full-time Interiors REVIT Designer. Our team needs a REVIT / CAD designer that can prepare accurate models, construction documents, and actively participate in the design process. Our work day is one that starts and ends when you've completed your eight hours, rare is the occasion that we ask you to work evenings or weekends...quarterly company happy hour is not required...but recommended. 

The experienced REVIT Designer position is responsible for working with project team lead on all aspects of Interior Architecture projects. This person will work closely with  the Sr Designer to provide Revit Modeling on hospitality and multi-housing projects. Should have minimum 2 years 3D environment working in Revit (post graduate) with a focus on housing or hospitality.


  • Work closely with the Sr Interior Designer and other team members on different aspects of the project, including schematic design, space planning, design development, and construction documentation
  • Participate in programming and planning, and the selection of finishes, materials, furniture systems, and specifications
  • Utilize Visualization, graphics, and presentation skills to effectively communicate the project design
  • Provide design support and documentation throughout the design phases of the project
  • Provide production assistance for construction documents required for permit and construction
  • Assist in aspects of project coordination with the team and Contractors during CA
  • Assist in developing solutions to grow BIM efficiencies and maintain high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain revision control on drawings and follow company standards for an organized system of maintaining files.
  • Regularly communicates with team and takes direction from other team members to verify design requirements and specifications, progress reviews and design delivery.

  • Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Receives instruction on specific design objectives, complex features and possible solutions and independently performs assignments. 
  • Participates in design meetings to ensure the design intent is consistently in adherence.
  • Coordinates use and tracks shared electronic documentation and files with project team, clients and contractors.
  • Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.
  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance. 
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Displays excellent communication skills including persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with coworkers; including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Respectfully takes direction from manager.

This position has no supervisory duties.

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Minimum 2 years of BIM/Revit (Interior Architecture) experienced required. 

Has advanced specialized computer skills that require mastery of applicable software in such fields as graphic design and technical writing. Proficient user of Revit and AutoCAD LT 2016/2017. Prefer experience with Adobe Suite as well.
