RACHLIN PARTNERS is a fully integrated architecture, planning, interior design, program management and construction management organization established in 1982 in Los Angeles, California. The work of the firm spans a wide variety of project types including education, healthcare and government facilities for both private and public clients.

We are currently looking for individuals to fill the following positions:

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Description:

The Construction Manager will manage one or more construction projects as part of a team implementing a bond construction program in the Los Angeles and North Orange County Area. He or she will interface directly with the client’s staff, architects, contractors, jurisdictional agencies, and other entities; perform design and constructability reviews; assist with contractual negotiations; and coordinate all other work necessary to successfully complete projects, including value engineering, construction management, and project closeout.  Note: The project location will be primarily Los Angeles and North Orange County.  Occasional travel to the Culver City home office may be required.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • 7-12 years of experience in the management of multiple construction projects.
  • Experience with large Capital Improvement Programs and familiarity with relevant Public Codes
  • 7 years experience in educational facility construction.
  • BA or BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or a closely related field. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of all parts of the project life cycle including master planning, design and closeout
  • Experience in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS).
  • Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes.
