Martin Brudnizki Design Studio (MBDS) is an internationally acclaimed interior architecture and design practice based in London and New York. Over the last eighteen years the studio has worked across the world with notable clients including Four Seasons, Rosewood Hotels, Six Senses Luxury Resorts, Soho House Group, The Birley Group, Caprice Holdings, Sydell Group and The Royal Academy of Arts, alongside a number of private residences. Having recently completed the redesign of Annabel’s in Mayfair and The Surf Club Restaurant with Chef Thomas Keller in Miami, the studio is currently working on creating the interiors for projects in London, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Paris, Zurich, Copenhagen, Madrid, Stockholm, Athens and Hong Kong. 

MBDS are looking for an FF&E Associate to join the NY Studio. This position offers a high-level of responsibility in design project management and coordination of the design and operational side of multiple and simultaneous projects and studio staff. 

This focus of the FF&E Associate role is to manage the detailed process of concept and design development as well as design information production and managing, mentoring and developing the FF&E team.

The FF&E Associate must be extremely experienced with all aspects of design and design project management from large scale hotels and residential developments to high end restaurant and restaurant roll-outs. An excellent understanding of all areas of furniture, product, interior architecture and design is a must. Further, a comprehensive understanding of construction technology is imperative as well as knowledge of current building regulations. An extremely high-level of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is mandatory as well as InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite.

The position is client facing and a high level of verbal and written communication skills are a must.  


8+ years of experience in either hospitality or residential design with significant experience managing a team and running jobs, either large scale residential, hotels or restaurant roll-outs.
