Project Administrator

Tryba Architects is a 30-year-old Denver-based architecture and urban design firm specializing in cultural and civic architecture.   We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Project Administrator who will perform construction administration services in a fast-paced professional environment to help support a creative, entrepreneurial design firm of over 60 people. Ideal candidate is personable with problem-solving aptitude and a desire to contribute in a professional setting.

The successful candidate possesses:

  • Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction administration in architecture, construction, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to multitask effectively, displays a high sense of urgency, a desire to grow professionally, and a willingness to take initiative and work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
  • Prioritizing and handling matters quickly, efficiently
  • Exceptional communication skills - verbal and writing
  • Sophisticated, upbeat, mature and energetic personality with forward-thinking ability
  • Ability to readily build rapport and trust with both employees and clients
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, and all Adobe Suite products (InDesign in particular)
  • Proficiency with MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to coordinate and track documents from architects, engineers, contractors, city and county staff.
  • Communicates directly with and on behalf of the project teams to co-workers, clients, and colleagues; compiles, processes and helps to execute various tasks and documents.
  • Assists with preparation of job schedules, budget and cost tracking, construction meetings including agenda and invitations.
  • Creates and maintains construction administration logs; Follow up with internal and external team on status of submittals and RFIs
  • Coordinates and records site visits and punch walks.
  • Completes archiving of project once complete.
