Driven by a dedication to excellence in both design and client relations, CMA is seeking a Staff Architect to support project execution across a broad variety of project types.  The ideal Staff Architect has completed their intern development program and is now ready to work more independently on projects throughout all phases from design through construction administration.  As a mid-size firm, CMA is able to offer motivated Staff Architects opportunities to grow into mid-level leadership positions in the firm.   • Work within project team or solo under direction of project manager/architect to design and execute projects across a wide range of project types

  • Participate in reviews of zoning and code compliance

  • Advocate design excellence and project feasibility

  • Attend project design meetings and develop client relationships

  • Develop knowledge of basic and advanced architectural systems and associated engineering systems.

  • Liaise with project consultants and coordinate engineering documents with architectural design

  • Participate in construction administration activities including attendance at construction phase meetings, submittal review, RFI responses and closeout activities

  • Communicate clearly with team members to ensure project success

Essential Requirements:

  • Professional Degree in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch)

  • 4+ years of architectural design and project experience

  • Registered Architect, or demonstrated advanced progress towards registration

  • Working proficiency in both Revit and AutoCAD platforms

  • Desire to advance professional career
