Montroy DeMarco Architecture LLP (MDLLP), an award winning architecture firm, is expanding the  architecture and interiors studios and looking for an Intermediate Architect with excellent drawing and organizational skills.  The ideal candidate will have refined AutoCad skills and be able to multitask efforts with architectural teammates, consultants, and ownership alike.

All candidates should be able to oscillate freely between design and technical tasks. Experience in the preparation of presentation drawings during the Schematic Design Phase through Construction Documentation is desired.  Candidate involvement will also take place during the Construction Administration Phase at relevant points in the process. The optimal individual will be “well rounded” and have experience in residential and commercial “base buildings”, large scale renovations, and “high end” interiors.

The Intermediate Architect will work under the supervision of both Job Captain & Project Architect and be involved in the document preparation for building projects throughout all phases of work.  The Intermediate Architect will work on projects that require efficient and timely work effort.

Candidates need to demonstrate they possess graphic talents and CAD skills to produce high quality deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

  • Professional Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience with exposure to Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents Phases (Knowledge of C.A. a plus)
  • Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of Revit and other 3D programs very helpful
  • Valid U.S. work permit and strong English Language Skills
