POSITION OPPORTUNITIES: We’re looking for someone with more than just a degree. A4E is inviting experienced, innovative architects to join our growing design firm creating innovative educational manifestations. Growth opportunities available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete work on time, within budget, with a high degree of client satisfaction
  • Provide expertise on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exhibit mature judgment, tact, diplomacy and firm grasp of the technical aspects of design projects
  • Demonstrate proficiency in conceptual design, design presentation, construction documentation and construction administration
  • Attend project team meetings and provide Project Manager with status report of progress on documents.
  • Develop designs and sketches to be incorporated into completed documents
  • Accomplished graphic, organizational and communication skills are essential
  • Assist with project design including site development, plan layout, construction detailing, material selection and elevation development.
  • Assist with developing and monitoring the team: adhere to man-hour calculations, project schedule
  • Assure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards.
  • Work both independently in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a project team
  • A desire to grow and develop professionally

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 years architectural experience. Recent graduates will not be considered for this position
  • Minimum of 4 years recent Revit experience required
  • DSA and educational facility design experience preferred
  • Strong team building and leadership skills
  • Applicants must have a Bachelor's  or Master’s degree in Architecture and be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent residence status.
