Since the beginning, our architects and engineers have combined intellectual forces to carry out one, simple mission: improve places by devising thoughtful and efficient design solutions for our clients. Ready to create with us?

We’re seeking a collaborative and accomplished Project Manager with 10-15 years of experience to join a diverse team that values simplicity and environmentally responsible design. Our Seattle team excels in high-end retail design but also provides design services in the healthcare, government, and commercial markets; your work will include projects across the United States and in some overseas locations.

Our Seattle portfolio is expanding in all sectors as our local presence continues to grow, so we need you to be enthusiastic about dividing your time between the demands of business development, client management, and project team leadership.

As a Project Manager you:

  • Understand, prepare, and meet project deadlines and budgets
  • Prepare and coordinate proposals and contracts
  • Skillfully design and coordinate construction documents, working drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and related documentation
  • Develop and interpret design concepts and evaluate alternatives while maintaining technical and design control
  • Communicate a thorough knowledge of construction materials, standards, local codes, permitting, and jurisdictional processes in the Pacific Northwest
  • Take a self-directed approach in the preparation and coordination of design documents
  • Provide on-site project observations as required during design and construction
  • Oversee quality control and design detailing

You’ll also need:

  • Accredited professional degree in Architecture
  • Registered Architect in the State of Washington
  • 10-15 years of experience in the architecture field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build productive relationships with clients and other disciplines in a professional manner
  • High standards of organization, presentation, and project task-completion
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Deltek Vision
  • LEED accredited desirable

We take care of our own:

At Cushing Terrell, we are committed to client service, both external and internal. We are the heads-down-but-have-fun / people-before-projects kind of firm. We encourage our team members to set big goals, but keep ego out of the office and prioritize an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative work environment.

This position offers excellent pay and a complete benefits package including production bonuses, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k) savings plan with an employer match, holiday and paid time off, flexible schedules, and an evolving wellness program.
