Description: 

The Project Designer will be responsible for developing project design solutions, plans and presentations for clients.  The individual will participate in projects of all sizes and levels of complexity from project start-up through completion within the workplace practice area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Initiates and creates project designs and plans of all phases of one or more projects and has responsibility for preparing presentations and design drawings.
  • Will participate in programming, visioning and site assessment tasks.
  • Coordinates all consultants and vendors related to project design while monitoring drawings.
  • Responsible for developing design solutions and technical accuracy of projects.
  • May supervise or perform site observations activities.
  • Record/archive all drawings, data and project information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Interior Design or Architecture is required.
  • Minimum of 6 to10 years’ Workplace project experience.
  • Demonstrated capacity for design sensitivity.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Strong technical and graphic communication skills.
  • 3D modeling and presentation skills a plus.
  • Familiarity with Newforma Software a plus.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite of programs at a minimum.
  • Advanced Revit skills required. AutoCAD, Graphic rendering – including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, understanding and use is required.
