Job Description:

Produce and coordinate construction documents for an experiential design agency using Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketch-Up. Collaborate with Concept Designers, Architects, and Mechanical & Engineering consultants from various disciplines to produce 3D coordination models & 2D tender documents. Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, flooring, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting.  Enjoy solving the intricate puzzle of integrating Scenic elements with AV Systems, Lighting Systems, Special Effects, and Architecture.

What you will do:

  • Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to design and document floor plans, RCPs, elevations, sections, and integration details.
  • Contribute to overall Art Direction including finishes, scenic materials, and design look/feel.
  • Coordinate drawing packages with sub-vendors who work in 2D.
  • Work collaboratively with other Revit & AutoCAD users on the same project files.
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain equipment/element schedules that contain facility impact information.


  • Degree (or equivalent work experience) in a related field such as:
    • Commercial/Retail Interior Design
    • Theatre Set Design
    • Production Design
    • Architecture
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with Building Information Models (BIMs) is a plus.
  • Skills in Sketch-Up, Rhino/Grasshopper, 3DS Max a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of construction best practices.
  • Knowledge of Audio/Visual and Lighting Integration for permanent spaces a plus.
