Asymptote Architecture, a New York City based award winning firm is seeking an Architect with excellent design skills and solid building experience for current cultural, educational, performing arts and urban projects located abroad and in the US. Our firm offers a creative, fast paced and highly collaborative environment. We are looking for highly motivated, talented and energetic, individuals who will enthusiastically bring their ideas, skills and experience to the design process with the goal of creating sustainable,  socially relevant and exceptional architecture.   


  • 7+ years post-graduate work experience with a record of realized and/or recognized/published projects with leading architectural firms
  • Excellent conceptual skills and proven design talent
  • Strong experience in carrying a design from concept through detailing and construction documentation and assembling a drawing package
  • Experience coordinating with consultant team
  • Highly professional technical and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, spoken and graphic communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Autocad, 3D modeling and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Leadership skills including ability to lead and mentor junior staff
  • Master of Architecture preferred
  • US work authorization required

New York City based Asymptote is located in proximity to Brooklyn neighborhoods, 10 minutes from midtown Manhattan, and easily accessed by subway and ferry. Indoor parking for bicycles provided.
