Our Firm: Architect / Developer / Construction Management Firm is seeking a Licensed Architect to join it's team.

Mid-size firm in White Plains, NY seeks highly motivated NYS Licensed Architect or P.E. with diverse skill set and ability to work both independently and as part of a team - to serve as Project Executive on all phases of development, design and construction of multi-family residential projects.  Primary focus on affordable housing (both new construction and rehab) throughout the New York metropolitan area.

Job Title:                Project Executive

Examples of Tasks/Responsibilities:

Preconstruction Phase

  • Coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals.
  • Supervise production of design, permit and construction documents.
  • Coordinate preparation and filing of Condominium documents.
  • Liaison with Planning and Zoning Boards.
  • Development of Specifications and preparation of Bid Packages.

Construction Phase

  • Coordinate processing of RFIs, Submittals, Change Orders, etc.
  • Manage Requisitions and track project finances.
  • Oversight of field operations ensuring site safety, schedule maintenance, coordination of trades, quality of workmanship and timely completion.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • NYS licensed architect or engineer.
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in design/construction.
  • Exposure to entire development process from due diligence through close-out.
  • Proven leadership skills (must have managed teams of 5-10 people minimum).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and management Skills.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, detailing, and New York City and State building codes and zoning ordinances.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup is a plus.
  • Prior experience with PROCORE Construction Project Management software is a plus.
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus.
