CallisonRTKL Architects P.C. seeks a Project Manager with extensive project management experience to join its Workplace Practice Group located in New York City. The position is focused on managing small-to-mid scale workplace/corporate interiors projects.


  • Manages all phases of design and construction

  • Plans, coordinates and manages the project process for full line workplace projects

  • Represents the project or practice as the primary contact for client interaction, report to the VP in charge on project progress and issues

  • Negotiates critical and controversial issues with appropriate parties

  • Collaborates with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations

  • Serves as the main contributor during client meetings and presentations

  • Prepares work drawings, specifications and cost estimates for projects

  • Coordinates/leads the work of architecture and interior design staff that complete design or production work, and construction documents

  • Oversees financial management of all assigned projects

 Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related design field

  • Minimum of 7 years of architecture experience

  • License a plus

  • Experience with workplace/corporate interiors projects

  • Ability to produce and direct work

  • Solid working knowledge of building codes

  • Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all clients and employees

  • Experience with contract negotiations, project financial planning and scheduling

  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD preferred

  • Experience with Sketch-up, Photoshop and InDesign preferred

  • LEED accreditation preferred
