DLR Group is looking for talented, Project Designers to join our award-wining Cleveland design studio. We are an international, integrated design firm working extensively in Cultural + Performing Arts, Healthcare, Workplace, and Higher Education. Position Summary: You will be responsible for coordinating, with assistance from Project Managers or Project Architects, all aspects of the project document development and coordinating with all project team members to produce quality work product while adhering to project schedules. The successful candidate will:

  • Identify and proposes technical solutions to design challenges.
  • Provide technical feedback in the conceptual development of project documents.
  • Produce accurate documents aligned with firm standards for project assignments.
  • Apply practice standards to project assignments.
  • Communicate to Project Manager progress of assignments according to the established project schedule and workplan.
  • Ensure project information is incorporated into project documents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited program.
  • A basic understanding of technical knowledge in architectural drafting and design.
  • A strong communicator, collaborative, detail oriented and organized.
  • Proficient in the use of production and design software such as Revit, Rhino, 3DS Max, and Adobe CC.
  • Proficient in model making, including 3D-printing, laser cutting, traditional methods and other emerging technologies, software + equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Architecture from an accredited program
