We are nationally-recognized for our custom residential architecture, including the 2006 HGTV Dream Home.

We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and results-oriented Architect/Project Manager with experience in residential architecture to join us. Our success depends on everyone in our firm working as a creative team, primarily on residential projects in Western North Carolina and the surrounding region.

In this position, you will be involved in all phases of the design process – from Schematics and Construction Documentation through Construction Administration. Responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as Project Manager on multiple projects, and work as a team member on other projects as needed

  • Foster strong client relationships

  • Coordinate with engineers, specialty consultants, vendors, and contractors

  • Mentor/Coach less experienced team members

  • Produce construction documents

  • Manage project budgets to ensure profitability

  • Become the expert “super user” in ArchiCAD software

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in architecture mandatory

  • Licensed with 5 years of experience in custom residential architecture

  • Exceptional competency with CAD software in an architectural setting is required. Specific expertise in ArchiCAD would be a plus

  • Proficient with the creation, coordination, and detailing of full sets of construction documents

  • Familiarity with 3-D modeling and rendering programs desirable

  • Superb organizational and communication skills

  • Easy-going but with the ability to handle deadlines under pressure
