Description:                      

Perkins Eastman is seeking an energetic person who is passionate about design and photography to assist in building, curating, and archiving the digital assets for our global design firm. This person would work with both the marketing and communications teams to organize the firm’s assets and maintain consistency across all offices.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Digital Asset Coordinator reports to the Photography Manager.
  • Asset Management Database:
    • Work with Photography Manager (current database manager) to research and implement image database
    • Survey marketing staff to develop new database features to support their workflow
    • Point person for all marketing database related projects
  • Asset Management
    • Day-to-day management of marketing image updates
    • Research, gather and upload images from all project teams to keep the marketing image database up to date
    • Investigate whether outdated images are still being used
    • Take the lead on organizing image libraries for incoming firm mergers
  • Perkins Eastman App
    • Keep the app up to date with current projects
    • Work with app developer to keep the app fresh and innovative
  • Website
    • Assist the communications department with website updates
  • Photography: Architecture and Interiors
    • Assist on architectural and interiors photo shoots as necessary
    • Support photography team with photo shoot coordination as necessary (prop purchasing, planning, etc)
  • Photography: Headshots and Office Lifestyle
    • Take headshots of staff
    • Take photographs of teams working, office events, etc
    • Process photographs to meet a consistent standard
  • Image Processing
    • Ability to help the photography team with processing and retouching
    • Prepare files for delivery to publications, awards, consultants, clients, etc
  • Other:
    • Assisting with other communications and marketing tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience in Photography or Digital Media
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Image editing experience is required
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Digital Asset Management and image archiving, editing experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, detail and organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and troubleshoot is essential.
